We are doing our utmost to keep the shelves full and doors open whilst meeting the Government Instruction to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Briantspuddle Shop and Post Office is situated in the centre of the village next to the village Hall. It was once a granary, hence the arched base. Walk to the rear of the building and you will find the welcoming open door and some handrails to steady your wallet hand. It opens every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We are pleased to announce that the shop can now accept payment by card (contactless or by using your PIN) and phone. This makes it even easier to come and spend your money!
Only one customer may now be in the shop at one time in order to observe social distancing. Please arrive by the front door of the hall using an elbow on the disabled button and follow the route below observing 2 metre (6 feet) distancing. There is now a light system with green for enter and red for wait which can be seen from the Jubilee room lobby door. When it is green go into the shop wearing a face covering and still observing 2 metre (6 feet) distancing.
After you have finished please leave by the normal passageway to the road. Sanitise or wash hands as soon as you can and before touching your face. It may seem a bit over the top to some but this is necessary so please do it.
We are currently offering a newspaper delivery service for those who are self-isolating, this is free of charge. Please contact us via briantspuddle.shop@gmail.com for more details and to put in your order.
