Only one customer may now be in the shop at one time in order to observe social distancing. Please arrive by the front door of the hall using an elbow on the disabled button and wait on a chair in the hall observing 2 metre (6 feet) distancing. When called leave by the patio doors and go into the shop still observing 2 metre (6 feet) distancing. After you have finished please leave by the normal passageway to the road calling the next person forward as you leave. Sanitise or wash hands as soon as you can and before touching your face. It may seem a bit over the top to some but this is necessary so please do it.
We have had an influx of volunteers offering their support, so you will find some new faces behind the till, please help them as they get comfortable with all the different jobs that must be completed.
We are offering a newspaper delivery service for those who are self-isolating, this is free of charge. Please contact us via the parish helpline email@example.com or 07745 796118 for more details and to put in your order.
The Briantspuddle Shop and Post Office is situated in the centre of the village next to the village Hall. It was once a granary, hence the arched base. Walk to the rear of the building and you will find the welcoming open door and some handrails to steady your wallet hand. It opens every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
